Manganin Wire

  • An alloy of maganise nickel and copper, having a low temperature co-efficient.
  • This wire is particularly suited for resistance coils.
  • Constantan Wire-Bare: Constantan is a Nickel-Copper based alloy wire that has a high
resistivity and is mainly used for thermocouples and electrical resistance heating.
  • It has a constant resistivity over a wide range of temperatures.
  • Nichrome Wire-Bare: This nickel chromium resistance wire is suitable for heater wire and hot
          wire cutting use.
  • Copper Wire: This bare copper wire is suitable for use in crafts or for electrical grounding wire
          use.
  • DCC (Double Cotton Coverd) Wire: First layer of Fibre glass yarn covered with Second layer
          of cotton yarn.
  • SWG: 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, 22, 24, 26, 28, 30, 32, 34, 36
