Kundt’s Tube apparatus 

The Kundt’s Apparatus’ is ideal for the study of sound and waves, standing waves, resonance, musical instruments and tones.

The apparatus includes:

• The transparent resonance tube, 850mm long  with  metric  scale,  2x  side  holes  and  sliding 
        shutters, an adjustable piston, a miniature microphone which can be passed up the tube.
• A mini-speaker that fits to one end  of  the  tube  and  produces  the  sound  waves, a  driver  to 
        interface the speaker to an amplifier or oscilloscope and an instruction booklet.
• Only a Signal Generator is required to run the equipment. An oscilloscope is ideal to determine 
        the maximum and minimum sound level.
