Our Kinetic Theory Model is a visual demonstration of the change in molecular motion as a
result of the thinning of the air with increasing altitude and the increase of volume with
temperature.
The 1/8″ metal spheres are enclosed in a Perspex cylinder which is mounted on a plastic fitting
with a rubber diaphragm.
Below the diaphragm is a piston connected to a low voltage DC motor which is used to produce
oscillating motion or vibration.
Socket terminals are provided for electrical connection to a power source.
