Interface Unit

The interface between the units and the user’s computer is provided by the Interface Unit. This conditions the raw data from the sensors digitizes the data and transfers it to the computer using the USB interface.
It also includes a sophisticated three-phase inverter for providing accurate motor-speed control and a second motor-drive output, all under software control.
Earlier units can be upgraded by changing a printed circuit board (obviously for your safety, before opening the cover, follow the hardware and software installation and safety instructions as supplied with the upgrade).
